A photograph a day from Kuantan: #4 Petrol Station

Meet my new friend, Rama. I met him while we were filling up at the Petronas petrol station across the road. He kindly did the job, after which we had a conversation which began with his moustache. Fantastic, isn't it?

  5. Great photo! I love mustaches and I think in the almost 40 years we've been married I have only seen my husband without his on one occasion. It made him look too much like his dad without it so I made him grow it and his beard back.

You have some really nice photos on your blog. I need to use more on mine. Thanks for stopping by and commenting today. I appreciate it. Yes, the little things are so significant.

  6. This photo was not taken on Mother's Day! That was spent with my wife and daughter.

His moustache is great, I just had to snap a picture of it! Thanks for the positive remarks :)

  7. Duncan you have goodness in your face... I can see a kind soul behind your eyes. I have enjoyed learning about Kuantan from your pictures and posts. I cannot imagine myself living in Asia. I'm sure you have left certain conveniences and comforts behind for a deeper experience in life. One that challenges and increases compassion.

  8. kneesandpaws, that's quite an accurate assessment. Of course I left my family and secure citizenship in England, but I'm so glad I've explored, and now live, in South-East Asia!
