1,600,000+ pageviews!

The Kuantan Blog currently has over 1,600,000 pageviews in its history!

I could never have imagined so many people would come to this blog and interact the way they have.

Just over 11 years ago we were Celebrating 300k pageviews with this post, which seems awfully small compared to our current stats.

The Kuantan Blog has been dormant, concerning new content, for quite some time, but, it seems, is still attracting visits from all around the globe. I'm hoping to steadily add more new updates and content to the blog to keep it current and accurate.

In the meantime, there is a wealth of information about Kuantan here. Browse the pages at the top of the blog, just under the header photo, to discover more about the growth and development of Kuantan from a small town to a thriving city and a tourist destination!

Kuantan 188 Tower

The Kuantan 188 Tower is the new centerpiece attraction in downtown Kuantan. It is part of a renovation project that encompasses large parts of the surrounding riverfront area. Kuantan 188 offers stunning panoramic views of Kuantan and the beautiful hills that surround it to the north and west, and the South China Sea to the south and east.

I headed up to the observation deck after I paid my RM10 ticket fee (I produced my Malaysian red IC), while my American friends had to pay RM30 each. Regardless of the prices, a trip up the Kuantan 188 Tower is well worth the cost.

The views of Kuantan were amazing! There are binoculars around the observation deck to have a closer look at faraway landmarks or the many eagles soaring around the skies above the Kuantan River. Such a great place to bring friends and visitors to get a bird's eye view of this great city of Kuantan!
