I went to Borneo last summer to do some charity work, and we went trekking in the jungle for a week. I ended up showering just in the rain, I've never experienced torrential rain like that before, and this looks no different! Thanks for stopping by my blog, I like the photos you have on yours :)
Wow! That is some rain! I suspect that it dries up pretty quickly and then you have the heat and sun again. Not sure that I could cope with those high temperatures though!
Aisha, it certainly makes a refreshing change from the draining heat!
Barbara, rain is good for a whole lot of things - for me, I take pictures of it!
Misha, there is something calming about the sound of falling rain.
Roza, it's certainly not fun if you're stuck in it!
FGF, our neighbour used to play in the rain on his balcony too - that was a funny sight!
Xinmei, this sort of terrential rain is a lovely experience to have.
Leovi, you're right, I'm very fortunate to have great views of nature from my room :)
Thisisme, you're bang on, it dries up very quick, amazingly fast!
The Golden Eagle, it's been a while since we had a huge downpour. Normally everywhere gets flooded and by the next day it's bone dry again!
Lynda, this kind of rain is so intense that it's difficult to sleep - especially when it's accompanied by the most blinding lightning and air-cracking thunder!
Toyin, thanks for coming over! It rained for a good hour or two!
Well Rosalind, we live on the equator, so we do have seasonal rains in the monsoon season from November-January. Because of the intensely hot weather, it does rain often too!
I remember the monsoon rains well in Malaya, like a warm shower and the steam afterwards amazing... nothing like it in England perhaps we might not cope with it lol xx
