My English students often seem to be stuck for ideas. They're expecting either a right or a wrong answer, when in fact, there can be a vast array of right answers! It just requires a little imagination.

What sort of things inspire your imagination? What things help to produce a creative imagination?

ReplyDeleteMagazines, I am a huge fan of creative magazines. Keeping a sketchbook helps too.
ReplyDeleteHow to spark off the imagination in the heads of students! I spent many years trying to do that. It's not easy. Strangely it was only after I stopped teaching that my own imagination developed to the point where I started to write fiction.
