Around our apartments in Bukit Sekilau, Kuantan, lives the stray cat family. Some of them appear battle-hardened, but most of them are just cute cats. Here they are in photos.

Very cute, most cats here even if owned by families still have to live outside, not like us Brits and our cats. I do miss having cats as pets but it is not practical for us now.
ReplyDeleteEven though my parents don't have a cat, they always let the neighbour's cat cone in and lounge around on the sofa!
DeleteHi Duncan,
ReplyDeleteIt's really cool to see the pictures of your surroundings. I'm sure that not all cultures go to the extreme lengths that some Americans do to make sure that cats have "homes." I think they probably do just fine as independent citizens.
Thanks Jenny, I think they do alright on their own too!
Deletethese stray cats look happy and healthy. recently i went to a friend's house for Raya, and there were three cats.
ReplyDeletethere was an expensive, arrogant, snow-white Persian. the other two were these gorgeous strays they picked up from the an animal shelter home and both had their hint legs cut as a result of abuse. the family adopted them knowing that no one would take them home. i thought that was real sweet.
Hi Jaya, it's great when animals get properly taken care of. During our hari raya visiting we went to a house with seven resident cats!

Hey Leia, thanks and glad you liked this post!
DeleteI love the one of the Mother cat carrying her kitty.
ReplyDeleteI wanted to snap more pictures of that moment but the cat was moving pretty fast!
DeleteA curious cat and a neighborhood looks very familiar to me as it is typical residential look-alike elsewhere in Malaysia ! That for reminding a familiar scene very day !
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome Wong. This scene has been our home for the past 6 years.
DeleteThey really are cute. Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks Randy!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute. And they make me realize how much I overfeed my fat cat.
ReplyDeleteMy mother has a cat the same as the last photo, great pictures.
ReplyDeleteHope me missus don't see this..she'll most probably go over to the vicinity of your area and check out if she can take any of 'em cats home!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Missed Periods, Leovi and Kamal. The cats here are cute, lean and as healthy as I've ever seen strays!
