Yesterday I blogged about a lovely park here in Kuantan named Taman Gelora.
Yesterday I played around with one image from that shoot in Photoshop. Here is the original image:
I think it's a really lovely view
After putting this image through Photoshop, I've been able to create some almost abstract images of the same scene but seen through entirely different eyes.
The exhibition begins here . . .
1. Sharpened and saturated
2. Sketch
3. Crystallised
4. Pixelated
5. Black and white
6. Inverted colours
7. One colour and black
8. Pop colour
9. Distorted
Which ones have the best effect?
I rather like the crystallised one.
ReplyDeleteHi mum, It's great what we can do with images nowadays!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful original photo of a beautiful place. I like very much crystallized.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
I think the colors in #6 are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI love playing around with photoshop... well I actually use Picasa but I'm guessing it's the same sort of thing. Funnily enough I really like the black and white version. What is it about black and white pictures?
ReplyDeleteI love the pop colours!
ReplyDeleteI need to get Photoshop and your pics have totally convinced me that I should!! Love all of the pics but my favorite is the black and white. But, I am always a fan of the black and white...

Leovi, Odie, Anna, thanks for your favourites!
ReplyDeleteRos and Carolyne, I don't know what it is about black 'n' white, classical old style must be appealing!
It looks like you are having fun experimenting Duncan.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are keeping well, still reading your posts in my reader but apologies for not calling by to comment very often, time just seems to get swallowed up by real life!
Hi Linda, I know what you mean about real life taking over - I've not been visiting blogs for quite some time since the turn of the year. Just seem to be very busy. Anyway, thanks for popping over, I hope you are doing well too :)
