Mini-Malaysian Peacock Tree

It's a hot, sunny, gorgeous afternoon here in Kuantan! Today I'm directing you to my nature blog for some pictures of my Mini-Malaysian Peacock Tree.

Late afternoon walk at Taman Gelora

Yesterday my neighbour Dora decided to go to Taman Gelora for some jogging. Us and another neighbour, Mila, also followed along.

Fidelia and Dora have high blood pressure and are now taking steps to get more exercise. Taman Gelora must be the perfect place to go jogging/walking. There were a good number of people at 5.30pm doing just that. And the best part was, it was all done in virtual silence!

It gave me the opportunity to get snapping the beautiful trees around Taman Gelora as I pushed Leah in the pushchair, stopping now and again to take a photo, and look at how cute Leah was!

Leah smiled every time I stopped to have a look at her!

Absolutely love this scene. Such beauty.

Horne Learning Services

My wife and I have begun our entrepreneurial journey by forming our company named "Horne Learning Services."

This is the logo we designed together. It was the first finished result we had attempted and we liked it.

We are really excited about this and are looking forward to much growth and success in the future.

We are writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) like any efficient company, and that's not an easy job! So too is typing up 48 yearly lesson plans for four different age groups, along with other customised lesson plans for our work at hotels, hospitals etc.

Vistana Hotel - In-room Plants

Vistana Hotel Kuantan has a couple of in-room plants in the suite. There is one in each bathroom in front of the mirror.

So I temporarily moved them onto the dining table for a photo shoot. The dining table is black, smooth and reflective. The late afternoon sun was breaking through the window onto the objects.

Joining the fun is some Vistana Hotel shampoo, body wash and body lotion. I think these images look great as still life set-ups.

Vistana Hotel - Having Fun

We had a fun time at Vistana Hotel. We enjoyed our time in the room, by the pool and around the lobby.
