It's haze time again in Malaysia and Singapore and Kuantan has been hit badly too. This time every year, fields are mass-burned in Indonesia in preparation for plantation. Unfortunately, the winds blow all the suffocating smoke our way.
The picture at the bottom centre of the above collage is how a normal day looks here. The other three pictures were all taken this morning. It's terrible. It stinks and it's suffocating. We are not going out today.
So much for the super moon tonight. And my poor flowers on the balcony have died.
The air from the balcony of my house smell like something is really burning in the air. The Twin towers is not visible at all. Everything is smoky white. Perhaps i'll take a shot shortly for remembrance. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteHi, Duncan. The scriptural quote in the picture struck me. This is so true. We are living in "those" days. Here in the USA, flooding is rampant and wildfires are still raging in Colorado. Now, these things have happened throughout the world's history, but in this last dispensation, such things are accelerating. And now where you live... Sounds awful! I would stay indoors also!! May your family be safe in the Lord.
ReplyDeleteHow awful. I saw it on the news. Keep safe.
ReplyDeleteYes, we are lucky here that sugar cane fires are a thing of the past mostly (still sugar on Maui). We get volcanic smog called vog sometimes.
ReplyDeleteDrink plenty of tea, friend.
Aloha
It's looks like we did a few weeks ago with the wildfires.
ReplyDeleteSo sad
ReplyDeleteI hope the air soon clears! Stay safe and keep the girls inside. Blessings...Mary
