#7
My youngest daughter does not enjoy smiling for the camera, though that can be worked around. This image in at #7 shows that a smile is not always necessary in a great photo. I managed to capture her deep in thought, reflective and somewhat poignant. As to what exactly was going through her head, only she knows. What do you think was on her mind?
Pretty picture of pensive mood; though not necessarily so as we don't know what was going on in her little head. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful candid image
ReplyDeleteExcellent shot. I love that it's in black and white. Her expression really shines.
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet photograph.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely portrait - you are capturing those quiet moments that parents do not always capture!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your recent visits to my blog.
ReplyDeleteMy own timing to visit your blog is good. I got to see your favorite photos of 2013 to today's #7. My favorites of the group are the brilliant shot at #19 . . . and today's pensive photo of your daughter. Good work.
Thanks Jack. It's been good to discover the good work on your blog too!

So beautiful! She's dreaming about ice creams and lollipops.
ReplyDeleteWhat a very sweet subject Duncan and you made the perfect choice to show it in B&W, really works!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a beautiful picture. Everything about it works so well. The fact that she's not looking at the camera or smiling. The black & white. Excellent job!
ReplyDeleteI am not a fan of B&W, but this lovely portrait is worth an exception!
ReplyDeleteHey.
ReplyDeleteIt appears that she is thinking about something, or she's so concentrated that does not trample wrong.
Giant Cute picture of a dreamy little girl.

Shy and cute. Great b&w portrait.
ReplyDeleteWhen deep in thought, with those far away expressions, wondering what's on her mind and if her mind actually still there..
