Keep Calm and Eat healthy

I LOVE a good salad. Lettuce (green and purple), tomatoes, raisins, tuna chunks and thousand island dressing. It makes me feel so much fresher. We should all eat healthy. But at times it seems to be so difficult to do just that, particularly with all the heavy marketing done by fast food restaurants.

So 'E' is for Keep Calm and EAT healthy.

What are your favourite healthy foods?

  3. I enjoy a good salad and the occasional healthy meal, but there are some junk foods that I really wouldn't want to part with!

  4. I have fads. Sometimes I eat nothing but salads for days and then I upset my tummy and have to leave them off. They are my favourite type of lunch though.

  5. That photo of the salad looks good to me. I have trouble eating health because I'm not a fan of vegetables. I know that's not what defines "healthy", but it helps to like them. I've tried to do better as I age and it's more difficult to keep the weight off.

  7. Hmm I love pretty much all fruits and veggies, I think my favorite is a mango fruit salad with blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries. Yum!

  8. Fruit. I think I could eat fruit all day...although, the sugar content is sometimes not that healthy.

  9. I admit that I typically need some sort of cheese to make a salad seem complete!

  13. Did you know that the healthiest diets we know of contain no vegetables at all? They're all meat. Of course, that also means no carbs.
