  1. Bullying makes me sad and angry all wrapped up together but when I was a teacher I found it almost impossible to handle. If you make an issue of it you get copycat attacks and if you say nothing it just continues. I was at a loss to know how to clamp down on the bullying that, sadly all school were, and I suspect still are, full of.

  2. Duncan, I am sure you know KL ! It is said that one can be a nice person in KL but once he/she is on the wheels in the car, becomes a monster ! It is very sad and as I drive a Kelisa, you know you will get bullied ! One of the things I find the trend today is people driving a TANK on the roads of KL (men or women), funny thing on a big car (4 wheel drive or something), only seats the driver without passengers; so why drive such a big vehicle in busy KL ! The reason is they want to intimidate others with their BIG cars, cutting queue, ignore the traffic light, no need to signal when switching lanes, double park, and nowadays even triple park !

Road bullies ! I am not one as I am constant being bullied on the road ! I am really not sure KLites will ever learn their manners !

It's 6pm now, I just finish my lecture, the rain just stop, my car is at KLCC. Thinking about driving home now with all the Road Bullies on the KL road is making us all nervous again!

  6. I support you too, Duncan! Bullies make me mad! One should demonstrate power in wiser ways. Especially bullying the children is intolerable!

  7. Well done Duncan. Great post. Bullying is just terrible, especially for the poor children involved. Adults too, of course, can get bullied in their place of work. Well done for spreading the word.

  8. As a parent I found it hard to deal with when the school refused to sort out the bully.

  10. I agree with you, bullying needs to be stigmatized. I really hate it when I see a televised bullying and by-standers are blase about it.
Years ago a women in New York city was being attacked and was trying to get away. For over a half hour people heard her screams and no one picked up a phone and called polioce. It was despicible.
