Chinese Garden, Singapore

I came back from my latest trip to Singapore with a visit to the Chinese Gardens, located a short walk from the Chinese Garden MRT.

I was glad to get in as the last time I went, it was closed for renovations. The weather was fine and I spent around an hour walking around the gardens, taking a few pictures on the way.

Sadly, access inside the tower was denied. Later my friend told me that there was a suicide case there recently.

  5. Not been to the garden yet. But it looks like a nice Chinese garden, with arched stone bridges, walkways and nice bonsai plants. Some great pictures, Duncan. And the place looks tranquil. Just the place to retreat to for some quiet contemplation.

  6. Nice photos, Duncan! The bridge, the stone boat, the pagoda are all elements which exist in the beautiful Summer Palace garden in Beijing (I wrote about this here: http://travelinghawk.blogspot.com/2011/01/o-data-in-viata-china-ep21-palatul-de.html
Probably that in Singapore is a copy after that garden.
